Sleep Patterns Change (Insomnia)
This transitional time can be emotionally, mentally, and physically intense. You may find that you have restlessness, sleeplessness, and more dreams; or you may dream more vividly and remember your dreams. When you are processing a lot of emotions, the body may need time to recover.
You may sleep more or fewer hours than usual. I’ve noticed that my sleep patterns have changed. Some nights I sleep for ten hours without waking once. Other nights I may sleep for three hours and then lie awake for hours. I have started my day at 4:30 a.m. because my body felt rested and refused to sleep. Strangely, I feel great the days following these sleepless nights.
Don’t be surprised if you need to take naps or sleep at different times of the day. I encourage you to take it easy on yourself and pay attention to your physical needs.
Vision and Perception
Your eyesight may have changed and now you see colors you’ve never seen before. Your internal vision reveals images of things that are about to happen.
Your physical vision may be hazy or out of focus, causing you to think you need a new vision prescription. I swapped and altered between four pairs of glasses after my 2013 walk-in. Some days I could see with the new prescription; other days I could see better with the old one. Some days nothing worked and I just had to let me eyes rest and do whatever shifting they needed to.
As you begin to have multidimensional sight, you may see objects that other people do not see, such as sparkles of light, shadows, orbs or balls of energy, grids of light, or movement from corner of your eyes. Objects may seem to shimmer, move, or fade. In the Bible, Paul was blinded on the Road to Damascus as a result of seeing Jesus in His light body. Our human eyes need to shift in order to see into brighter realms.
Do you find that you are no longer afraid of trying new ventures? Your perception of life is shifting and you may see a situation differently as if with new eyes, or your whole attitude toward something you once held as invincible truth has changed. Instead of judging others, you feel compassionate toward them, viewing them and their situation more kindly. Things that used to bother you just don’t seem to matter as much.
Perhaps you feel younger or more childlike, or your friends say you look younger. When enough of the old, fear-based patterning is removed from your cells, you will look and feel younger. I enjoy playing on the floor with my grandkids, many times feeling and interacting as if I am their age. My body may be sore the next day, but my soul knows no age! I’m sure my body will catch up soon.
