It’s time for our annual fall gathering at Enchanted Retreat Center in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. We are hosting an event on Saturday October 7th and here is the tentative agenda.
After our morning meditation and group sharing, Daphne Weinheimer will be leading a sacred Caçoa Ceremony. A Caçoa Ceremony is an opportunity for us to come together in an intentional space and enjoy drinking ceremonial cacao whilst setting new intentions, sharing heart-felt insights, and being led through a meditation.
This will be followed by lunch (provided on site) and some free time to walk the land and explore the creek fed by underground springs.
That afternoon, Becca Hartness and I will present light language activation and a drumming circle.
Before we dismiss that evening, Daphne will offer Yoga Nidra, a systematic guided meditation that is usually practiced in savasana or a supported, comfortable position. It promotes rest and relaxation.
There are creek-side camping sites for those who want to bring gear and stay overnight, or for a few days. Lots of parking areas for nomads and van-lifers, and one 30-amp electrical hookup for an RV/camper ($35 per night). We have a bath house with a flushing toilet and a shower. There are hotels nearby for those who desire creature comforts.
The investment of $50 per person covers lunch, ceremony supplies, instructor’s honorarium, and one night rough camping or van/bus parking on site. Extra nights are $20 each.
I hope you will plan to attend and spend some quality time with your spiritual tribe!
