My friend Jeff Krisman, let me know about an opportunity that some of my readers will be interested in. You may remember he was a guest on my podcast and I was his guest sometime last year. Jeff is putting together a format that will allow a collaborative space for healers, teachers, and practitioners to come together and “bring to life” fresh, new ideas for joint events.

ONEConsciousness brings together various healers, teachers, practitioners, and “their people” through facilitating the planning of collaborative virtual and in-person local events.

We are of service fully throughout the entire lifecycle as we help plan the promotion, marketing, and offering of “one of a kind” events that allows those who attend to hear new perspectives and to potentially feel new energy. 

The idea here is to bring the larger spiritual community together locally, regionally, nationally and even internationally and to provide healers and teachers with opportunities to meet new people who might be interested in what they have to offer.

In the Body, Not Out of It

Most of us find it easier to maintain our energy field when no one is influencing us, but it is important to be able to access that flow when life is happening right in front of us. Here is an exercise to help you get into your body anytime you are feeling anxious or fearful. Try this type of meditation for a few days and notice what changes.

Find a private space that is your go-to spot where you are not likely to be interrupted by others. You may have multiple places where you go to be alone. Set your intention to simply have an experience without attaching to outcomes. The idea is to be fully aware of and present with all your sensory abilities.

Physical Feeling

Keep your eyes open and do one Reset Breath©. Engage with your body and your senses. Do you feel any difference after one breath?

With awareness and attention, gently place your left palm on your chest and find the spot where the energy is strongest. What do you notice about this “sweet spot”?

Now, place your right palm on your lower abdomen. Do you feel hot or cold? Do any emotions arise? What thoughts are brought up? Have a sense of curiosity without judging what comes up. Just tap in and feel. [Read more…]

What is the Personality?

The personality is often referred to as the ego, shadow side, psyche, inner child, and other such labels. Personality is necessary for an Earth experience. Without personality we would all act and think the same way. There would be no diversity in the way we express ourselves or the way we experience life on Earth.

Within the first seven years of life, the personality begins to view itself as separate from Source and others. Ego is often viewed as a separate or evil entity that needs to be removed, eradicated, or harshly disciplined. Ego’s desires and curiosity naturally partners with the body to freely explore and have experiences. Ironically, ego that has adopted erroneous beliefs also causes us to despise or mistreat our body, seeing it as carnal flesh that needs to be punished and brought into submission. The body does not take sides with Spirit or personality. It is constantly trying to reset and restore itself from the mixed messages our programming imposes upon it. [Read more…]

The Awakening Journey

Each person’s spiritual awakening happens differently. The transformation could be a result of a “dark night of the soul” or some tragic loss or trauma. What was your awakening like? Maybe you are going through a difficult time right now–so many people are. One of the purposes for expanding my mission is to help more people find a safe place to process their experiences. That’s why I’ve asked Lesa Gavron and Becca Hartness to join We Are One in Spirit as coaches that can hold client sessions when I am unavailable and you need help sooner rather than later.

Both of these fantastic women are experienced in dealing with life’s ups and downs. They are my personal coaches as I move forward with creating a retreat center and tiny house rental community on undeveloped land.
