When I was an intercessor in the church, the Holy Spirit would come upon us as we prayed in tongues/light language. At times, groans would come forth as a powerful utterance indicating that something was being birthed through our intercession. Now that I better understand the prophetic gift, which is akin to shamanism, I realize that we have the ability to birth energies, codes, clearings, events, or other divine creations.
Like a woman in labor, this task may be overwhelming. The energy can be so intense that it sidelines you for a few minutes or even hours. Groaning or heavy breathing is a natural response. This process is not usually painful, but there may be sensations in the body. There’s no need to go into the emotion of the energy that you are birthing (you may be clearing some yucky stuff from the collective consciousness of humanity). Just be a space holder or observer as you consciously allow the energy to flow through.
If intercessory “birthing” seems to be going for a longer time than you have available, or if the energy feels stuck, call on another prophetic intercessor or shaman to assist. They can speak light code prayers or use intention to help you pull in the energy.
“… the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.” ~ Romans 8:21-23
