Are you looking for a place to spend the night in order to see the eclipse in Middle Tennessee? We have limited space in our Chapmansboro home to share with people who would like to experience this event.
The total solar eclipse will present with full darkness for 2 minutes and 19 seconds in the nearby town of Pleasant View, Tennessee on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Pleasant View is celebrating this event with “Lunch Under the Stars” for family fun, community fellowship, entertainment, and great food (click the newspaper clipping to enlarge the view and read more). Our home is 10 minutes from the park where the festivities will take place and 45 minutes from the Nashville Airport. The city of Clarksville, Tennessee is about a 30-minute drive.
We have four bedrooms and two full baths upstairs, and a roll-away bed in a private room downstairs. Two people can sleep in each room if you do not mind sharing a bed. We also have outdoor space for tent camping with access to the house bathroom for only $40 per night per couple/family. Contact Yvonne for details.
If you’re watching the eclipse, prepare for a spiritual experience, which can be nurtured and integrated at Sweethome. Our goal is to provide a unique spiritual experience of friendship, family, and fun. Enjoy a walk through the woods, connect with nature, enjoy the gardens, meditate, do yoga in the private chapel, and chat with other guests.
