Many people believe that light language (some call it speaking in tongues) always needs to be interpreted. I do not agree for several reasons. The very benefit of light language is that it bypasses the logical human mind and speaks to the psyche and the cells of the body on a subatomic level. These frequencies carry energetic or mathematical codes that can shift energetic imprints, brain waves, and emotional patterns on a subconscious level.
Having an interpretation to these mystery languages would automatically allow the mind to jump in and make a mental practice of trying to understand. It was the degrading conscious words that were spoken to us, or detrimental experiences we’ve had, which caused much of our dysfunction in the first place. Going to the heart of a matter to heal it . . . well, it requires that we go to the heart for understanding and wisdom! Not the head. If I were going to give a message that needed to be interpreted into English, I might as well just speak the message in English to begin with.
By the way, I wrote an entire chapter in my book, Light Language Emerging, demonstrating how light language (unknown tongues) are similar to the unknown tongues mentioned in I Corinthians 12: 10 of the Judeo-Christian Bible. Here are some examples:
1 Corinthians 14:2 – For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
1 Corinthians 14:14 – For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
Light language is very helpful to raise our vibration and connect us to higher realms where we remember ourselves as one with God/Goddess/Creator. I use light language more for myself than I do for anyone else, but my daily ministry includes praying in light language for others. I would rather sing or speak with Spirit/angel words, tones, or “groans” than to assume that I know what is best to pray for another person. It takes ego, manipulation, and guesswork out of my prayers.
Romans 8:26-27 – Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Read More…)
Jude 1:20 – But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost…
Light language is a heart language, not a mental exercise. While these unknown languages can be interpreted by some people, when that happens in a group setting or on a public post such as this one, everyone gets a one-size-fits-all same message and the mind jumps into analyze or force a prediction to happen. Many times this creates fear. Much of the spiritual heart-felt experience is lost in such a mental process.
When we seek our internal guidance about what a light language experience means to us or what Spirit is working on in our psyche, body, or mind as a result, we are better able to accept (rather than block) the energy and the transformation work that is being done on multiple levels.
Because light language is a multi-dimensional experience in which we are all working together as a group, I encourage those in my workshops to speak, sing, gesture, drum, and write light language simultaneously. The only time we speak in turn is when we need others (rather than just our guides or God/Goddess) to hear what we are saying to give a message with an interpretation. Yes, there are those who can interpret unknown languages and there is some room for this expression in my classes. However, since these are not prophecy classes in which we are giving psychic “readings,” this is not the focus.
1 Corinthians 14:15 – What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Why I Do Not Interpret Light Language Symbols
I have not been led to the task of interpreting the symbols outside of a session that I’m doing with a client. Light language uses frequencies, sound waves, mathematical formulas, or something similar to binary codes to speak directly to the cells of the body, the DNA, and emotional/mental patterns.
I may not know whether a song is in the key of F or a whether a painter used raw umber or cobalt blue in his/her painting. Yet I am able to have a personal experience from listening to the sounds or observing the art piece. Every person who views the art piece feels or sees something different that touches them on a deep level. Art is a form of light language without words.
“There are not mistakes in art. Nothing is placed there randomly. Maybe placed unconsciously, but never randomly! With art we can have access to a lot of subconscious information. I believe art is also a tool we can use for self-development.” ~ Tati Tati
I sense that each symbol carries enough information to be equivalent to a book or an entire lifetime. Unlike our externally agreed-upon written languages or alphabets, there is no way to say that a particular light language symbol always means the same thing or has the same function each time. Just like a letter “A” can be uppercase or lowercase, or have various phonetic pronunciations, or form words/sentences/paragraphs depending upon what letters it is combined with, these symbols tell stories about multiple realities, dimensions, incarnations, and experiences.
Hearing light language is like being in a sound bath that washes over every part of the physical and subtle bodies and soul, helping them remember and reconnect with the divine blueprint. I can’t always tell whether the frequencies are working on an internal organ, a mental imprint, or an emotional trauma from a past life. I have a team of galactic technicians and psyche surgeons with diverse skills. Their loving cooperation allows a client to receive treatment in multiple areas at once. Clients report positive changes in the days following sessions with me, and that is all the interpretation I need to know that this treatment is effective and on-going.

“This book spoke to me and reminded me of when I used to talk to myself as a child. It is fascinating and I have been speaking to myself in light language ever since. The insights I have gained into my life through this modality have been amazing, especially as it has only been 3 days since I finished reading the book! Highly recommended for those with open minds. Thank-you Yvonne for sharing with love, light and gratitude.” ~ Jojo
“Light Language Emerging is a wonderful and comfortable read. I say comfortable because there is some literature that addresses challenging or unfamiliar information in ways that are not easy to understand. Yvonne Perry offers information and recounts experiences regarding light language in a way that is Light, easy, engaging and with an endearing love and respect for this beautiful language of the soul. The forward by Amenreu is powerful. The descriptions of Light Language offered by Yvonne Perry, Maryanne Savino, Jamye Price and Emily Singleton, are simply beautiful. You could almost see colors dancing or jumping off the page as you read their descriptions. In fact, to see Maryanne dance Light Language, or Jamye sign in Light Language, is truly a sight to behold. This warm and heartfelt book helped me understand some of my own experiences speaking and singing Light Language. But, my most profound experience reading Yvonne’s book is receiving an activation. To my amazement, I can now write in Light Language which I have never ever done before. As a little girl, I received a sacred anointing from my great Aunt who was a minister and healer in the Pentecostal Church. She also spoke in tongues and she activated my ability to do the same. But, I’ve never written Light Language; until reading Yvonne ’s book. It’s my feeling that this book carries frequencies that can activate one’s ability to speak, sing and even write Light Language. If you have any fears about Light Language, speaking in tongue, et al, or if you do speak, but you’re afraid to speak out, this book may help you release that fear. What you learn might even help you acknowledge and embrace the Divine being that you are allowing your many gifts of spirit to unfold. May you read this book with an open heart !!!!”
