Some of you may remember the podcast I started in 2006 in which I interviewed guest authors who had a pertinent spiritual message to offer my listeners. The shows were popular on iTunes and soon I started exceeding the bandwidth allotted in my plan with Audio Acrobat. Therefore, I stopped creating new shows and let things fall by the wayside.
A couple of years ago I was led to host interactive group coaching calls that allowed my listeners to ask questions and receive answers in live time from me and my co-hosts. Those group coaching calls were recorded and are archived on my website.
Last fall, Spirit began prompting me to deliver my light language messages and teachings in a different way. I sensed that I would be sharing in a lecture style that would bring opportunities for me to move into larger venues as a keynote speaker. In confirmation, I was asked to be a workshop speaker at Conscious-Con which I look forward to in May. While public speaking might be exciting for some, I am timid about being on “stage” or in the limelight. As an empath, I am comfortable being behind the scenes and supporting others and helping them shine. But there is also the tendency to lean a bit too much on my co-hosts and podcast guests. Going “solo” would require a big step of faith and I admit I was a little hesitant. What if I had to travel and stay overnight in other cities? My vegetarian, gluten-free, low-carb diet is difficult enough to accommodate at home, much less on the road!
But Spirit kept urging me to make this shift. I awoke on the Saturday morning before Easter and picked up my email at 5:15 to find that I had about 20 or 30 “bandwidth warning messages” from Audio Acrobat. They were letting me know that I was going over my plan and would be charged extra. I needed to take action to keep my bill from soaring higher and higher but I had no time to deal with the problem then. We needed to leave by 6 a.m. Central Time to make the 5-hour trip to my folks’ house for an Easter meal by noon Eastern Time.
The day after Easter, I called Audio Acrobat and was surprised to learn that my old podcast shows were being downloaded from iTunes. Was this confirmation from Spirit that it was time for me to start creating new shows?
Audio Acrobat instructed me to upload my audios off site and link to them instead of storing them on their site. I had recently obtained an Amazon AS3 cloud storage account when MaAnna Stephenson of BlogAid.com was tutoring me to build my new website. I would be able to create new shows and share my podcast on iTunes without incurring extra charges for bandwidth overage. Yay!
Light Language Podcast
On the way home from my folks’ house, someone on Facebook asked if I was going to be doing another podcast. What? I had not mentioned this to anyone. Confirmation? I’d say so. But, I was not feeling led to start the group coaching calls again. It dawned on me that I could create shows for the podcast using the spontaneous light language messages and light codes I had been receiving and delivering to the general public via Facebook. More yay!
And, stepping out in faith I have begun to arrange speaking engagements to further step out of my comfort zone and expand my ministry. The light language playshop in March was wonderful. We had such fun learning to use our voice to express the language of our soul. I plan to host these events once per quarter and the next one is scheduled for June 13, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. Register now if you would like to participate
And, let me know if you hear of opportunities for me to facilitate a playshop or share teaching in person with your group.
Much love and light to all,
Yvonne Perry,
When will you be coming to south Florida?
Anytime you will pay my way! Would you be interested in putting together a playshop like this one in your area: https://weare1inspirit.com/events#play ?
I am hoping to come this late summer or fall. I have a friend putting together a tour. Let me know if you are interested in hosting a gathering or know of a venue where we can meet for personal ministry, drumming, light language, and fellowship.
