Have you ever come close to death’s door only to be drawn back to your body? Prior to the 1970s no one had heard of a near-death experience (NDE). Now it is common for people to open up and share what happened to them during an event that almost took their life—or in some cases did! Thanks to medical intervention practices used today some people have been pronounced dead and then came back to life several minutes later. The stories they report in such instances are consistent: life reviews, a tunnel of light, meeting deceased loved ones, seeing ascended masters, communicating telepathically, and being sent back to their body to complete the life they started. Many of those who have an NDE say that they experienced immense peace or indescribable love, beyond anything that can be imagined in this human existence. Those who have been wrapped in this feeling and come back to tell about it may find it difficult to be here on Earth with all its sorrow.
In past centuries we have not been comfortable with admitting to having gone through events such as this. As a society, we tend to think that anything we cannot explain or experience through the five traditional senses of sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing is not valid. The word “near-death experience” was not even in our vernacular or understanding forty or so years ago. We weren’t able to accept it through our self-imposed filters of what is possible and what is not. It is now a reality talked about in mainstream media. Therefore, it has validity.
Even without people sharing publicly, the NDE was the most common experience that created a shift in a person’s life and personality in the 1970s. I have had two near-death experiences in this body. My near-death experiences as well as stories of other NDE-ers are recorded in my audio book, More Than Meets the Eye ~ True Stories about Death, Dying, and Afterlife. Each NDE changed me and opened new psychic abilities and intensified my desire for spiritual pursuits. Coming back to Earth and feeling like a different person is a common report among those who have had NDEs and that was true for me.
Miraculous Healing
There’s something about coming close to death or being very ill or injured that causes us to reevaluate everything in our lives. It’s also hard not to change our old, limited ways of viewing life when we have a spiritual encounter that creates a miraculous healing in our body or emotions. Your spiritual transformation could have been triggered by such an event.
Many spiritually advanced souls have partnered with light beings and aligned with the energy of purer dimensions to bring healing vibration, light, and information to the Earth plane. This connection can help transmute the energy of fear, darkness, and retribution.
More and more people are learning how true healing comes from within our own body and thoughts. Many people believe they have to look outside themselves for healing but we have the power to heal ourselves by going within and partnering with the support and help of angels and spirit guides. That’s not to say that we can’t use medicine or doctors to accompany this effort. I believe in a well-rounded approach that is steered by our higher guidance. True self-healing comes from self-discovery and listening to the voice within and following its directions.
“In order to get well, it is important to look at the possible reasons you have become ill, be committed to getting better, and be willing to trust the recovery process presented in this book,” writes Dr. Susan Allison. “Then, you will have faced and released the past and can move forward with confidence, believing 100 percent in your ability to heal yourself.”
